ASKING FOR HELP!!!!!! Hi! Good morning or night! If you have visited my page – means - I’ve got a bit of hope! I’m Dmitri Federaygin. I’m 30. Only 3 years ago I was full of energy, safe & sound, strong & independent. I used to be a loving, caring father & husband, son & brother. But by bad luck everything changed in a minute. It is said that self-assured people get into trouble more often than others. Perhaps that’s true. I must have lost a feeling of danger. I must have relied on myself too much. I was sure - nothing could happen to me. But as it turned out the reality appeared to have been different. Being a perfect swimmer and proud of it once I dived badly. I didn’t manage to reach the shore by myself. So I became motionless for 4 months. Not a single finger or toe could operate. So strong and independent as I have been before, I became dependent on everybody. The diagnosis of our local doctors was the following: closed comminuted fracture of the cervical spine at the C5 vertebra with injury and spinal cord compression. There have been positive changes for 3 years. But the process is too slow in order not to lose hope. My wife gave up struggling and left me together with my elderly disabled (deaf and dumb) parents. Rehabilitation programmes and everyday exercises give very little. Chatting on the Internet with people having the same problem as I do, I’ve got to know that there is a clinic in Germany where thorough diagnostics is done. And after that further treatment can be offered. Unfortunately, 5000- 7000 euro is needed to diagnose. My parents can’t afford to purchase even tenth of this amount. My friends are ready to help but their income is not enough to cover this sum. The Gospel of Mathew says: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” I’m applying to everybody – help if you have any opportunity and desire. I hope my dream come true and I’ll be able to walk on my own, get back to everyday life and be useful for my parents and my beloved daughter. I’d be very much obliged to you if you could help me and support financially. If not – just tell your friends and acquaintances about my problems. I believe the more people get to know about an ordinary belarusian guy, the sooner my dream comes true.
